Business background includes construction, manufacturing and service industry experience with extensive knowledge in the areas of contracting, business development, operations, finance, project management, risk management, labor relations and strategic planning.
Current position as President and CEO at Colonna’s Shipyard, Inc. Colonna’s is a full service private shipyard which performs government and commercial vessel overhaul and refit projects. Additionally, Colonna’s has a significant industrial services business performing steel fabrication and machine repairs. The company employs 500 skilled craftsman, technical and management associates. The President has full leadership responsibility for this $100 million enterprise. Recent achievements include realizing 15% annual sales growth over a five year period. The President executed a diversification initiative which has transformed the company beyond its legacy ship repair core. Today, Colonna’s is a well balanced industrial service business serving vibrant government and commercial markets. The company is currently implementing a new long term strategic plan which will ensure growth and increasing profitability.
