This is a 1/2 a day refresher course from 7:30am to 11:30am. The EFR Refresher course meets OSHA Guidelines 29CFR 1910.151 compliance standards for workplace safety.
The EFR Refresher course is OSHA complaint and internationally accepted. This certification is a step beyond the Red Cross certification and is more oriented to industrial environments. This 1/2 day course is a comprehensive CPR/AED/First Aid Certification course that demonstrates how to initiate emergency care. The content and activities will prepare participants to make appropriate decisions about recognition, prevention, and treatment for emergencies. This course covers airway, breathing and cardiovascular emergencies; bleeding; burns; musculoskeletal injuries; soft tissue injuries; head and spinal injuries. The First Aid portion will cover emergency action principles, resuscitation; chocking (airway obstruction); heart attack, cardiac arrest; bleeding and shock; burns; eye and nose injuries; bites and stings; diabetics emergencies, stroke; seizures and temperature extremes.
